Alcohol addiction
Permalink Closed

A friend of mine is in big trouble. Her husband has been addicted with alcohol. Sometimes her husband even gets nervous and then beat her. Since he has lost his job, her husband is very depressed. I am a bit afraid for my friend, I wanted to help her from my side. I've heard of counseling that help to quit alcohol. Along with the counseling, you should be on a medication which will help you to be alcohol-free. I've learnt about campral by my husband. It is said that this medication treat alcoholism along with counseling. Is it true?? I want to find a solution for my friend. Is it a good idea?? Have you any other suggestion??

Hi worthy,

Yes, counseling is advised for substance-abusers.

The substance that helps alcohol abusers quit is called Desferal. You need a qualified prescription to aquire that drug.
